Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm:
Fun camouflage face painting and make and take craft sessions. Make your own military dog tag, and for £1 you can decorate your own T-shirt to take home!
Weekdays, Monday 12th – Friday 16th:
There will be special Gun Handling Sessions at 11am and 2pm each day from Monday 12th – Friday 16th February. These are an excellent opportunity for children and adults alike to get hands on with the collection and learn about the historic weaponry used throughout hundreds of years of battle, and the innovations and pitfalls of firearms throughout the ages. Discover one of the finest collections of weaponry in the South West and get up close and personal with the museum’s impressive armoury right here in ‘The Keep’, the former barracks of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry Regiment. Half Term Gun handling sessions will take place during weekdays only.
Visit our vintage and pre-loved book shop and refreshment area. Dogs are welcome throughout the museum. We have free parking at the rear of the museum, and overflow parking nearby at the Pay and Display.
