Treats on Trikes is the only catering business operating on the Camel Trail. This reflects our ethos of locally sourced products and packaging and was acknowledged by the Camel Trail Partnership when awarding us a license in 2010. As well as reducing our carbon footprint we also re-cycle and this formed an important part of the business plan presented to Cornwall Council.
Our tricycles avoid the noise and pollution of conventional ice cream vans, as we use pedal power to reach our trading place at Penquean Quarry.
We produce all our home baked treats, such as white chocolate & banana muffins, coconut and ginger flapjacks, carrot cake and chocolate brownie to name a few.
Treats are all packaged in biodegradable/compostable wrappings.
We can be found on the Camel Trail at the Penquean Quarry, a handy stopping place midway between Padstow and Wadebridge with delightful views over the estuary.
