Congratulations to Flambards who are flying high after their Firework Spectaculars were voted the Best Attraction Event in the South West.
The Helston attraction took the title at UK online travel site Day Out With The Kids’ Family Favourites Awards.
Day Out With The Kids asked over 25,000 families from across the UK to vote for their favourite family attractions, categorised by regions.
The South West category saw fierce competition due to the high amount of family friendly days out on offer however Flambards Firework Spectaculars rocketed to the top of the list.
The Cornish theme park hosts the pyrotechnic festivities twice weekly throughout the summer holidays. The hugely popular events include a pre-firework show featuring some of pop music’s most famous tribute acts.
Flambards Manager Richard Smith said: “We’re delighted to have won the Days Out With the Kids Award for the Firework Spectaculars and we’re thankful to the all the families that voted for us.”
Cornwall’s best day of the week also placed Highly Recommended in the category Best for Thrills. For adrenaline seekers the Skyraker, Sky Swinger and Sky Force all provide fantastic views of the Cornish countryside, whilst the Hornet gives visitors the chance to ride the UK’s most southerly rollercoaster.
