MAP & FACILITIES

Situated close to the harbour in the heart of Padstow, Maypole Cottages offer homely accommodation in easy walking distance of all Padstow’s amenities. Being clustered together in Broad Street and Mill Road, the cottages are ideal for extended families and large groups who want to stay near each other. They offer discounts for booking two or more cottages for the same weekend. Competitive nightly rates.

No.10 overlooks the square where the Obby Osses dance around the Maypole on May Day. The view of the square from the front bedroom is superb so book early as this cottage is very popular. The cottage is right in the heart of the town so could not be in a better location. Walking through the front door you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen overlooks an open-plan sitting and dining area which leads out onto a secluded courtyard. Facing south-west this catches the summer sun and is an idyllic haven in the centre of town as well as a safe place for children to play. Table, chairs and parasol are provided. At the back of the courtyard is an annex with bunk beds, en suite shower room, lavatory and off-peak electric heater. Upstairs in the main cottage are two double bedrooms with twin beds, which can be made up as doubles. Both have fully-fitted furniture providing plenty of storage space. Between the bedrooms is a bathroom with shower over bath, large sink and lavatory. Sleeps 4 and 2 in the annex. Dog friendly.

No.12 overlooks the square where the Obby Osses dance around the Maypole on May Day. It is a very well presented cottage located right in the heart of Padstow and is less than a minutes walk from the harbour side.  Downstairs is an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a downstairs toilet.  Up the winding stairs are two good sized doubles bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, so lots of space, and the bathroom has a large bath with a shower. The courtyard offers access to No.10 Broad Street and No.2 Mill Road, making the cottages ideal for large parties or separate families.
Sleeps 4. Dog friendly.

No.2 was originally a mill worker’s cottage and has been innovatively rebuilt to create a modern studio apartment. Upstairs is an open plan living area opening through a stable door onto a small terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped. A dining bar overlooks the spacious bay window. The sitting area has a large sofa which can be opened out into a sofa bed should more than two people wish to stay in the cottage. Downstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, which can be made up as a double, and a shower room with hand basin and lavatory. A back door opens into a courtyard which links to No.10 and No.12 Broad St if required. Being coastal the Camel Estuary has its own micro-climate with some gorgeous sunny days in summer and winter. However, if it does rain the studio is an extremely cosy place to hide out with WIFI, TV, DVD player and books for entertainment, central heating for warmth – and excellent access to all Padstow’s pubs! Although small, No. 2 Mill Road is a delightfully quirky place to stay in the centre of Padstow. Sleeps 2/4.

No.5 is a terraced cottage. The front door opens into a cosy living room with an open fire for colder days. Beyond the open stairs is a dining area and well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher. A back door leads to a small dustbin area and log store. Upstairs are two bedrooms. The front bedroom has twin beds, which can be made up as a double, and fully-fitted furniture giving plenty of storage space. The back bedroom has fitted bunk beds, dressing table and wardrobe. Between the bedrooms is a small shower room with hand basin and lavatory.
