Tregavone Touring Park is a campsite offering spaces for touring Caravans, tents and glamping in St Merryn. Tregavone is situated in peaceful surroundings on a 120 acre family run farm. Run by the Dennis family, Richard and his wife Kelly are the 5^th generation in the thatched farmhouse after taking the reins from John & Ethel Dennis upon their well-earned retirement (they are still here on hand to help and welcome regular visitors though!). Approximately two miles from Padstow, the site area is on part of a large level field which gives panoramic, unspoilt views over the adjoining valley and countryside. Tregavone is ideally situated for the 7 Bays of Trevone, Contantine & Boobys, Harlyn, Porthcothan, Treyarnon and Mother Ivey’s.

Family is at the heart of this campsite being run by family for families. There is a football pitch and a lovingly built swing & slide courtesy of Richard. There’s plenty of open field area for running, playing and working up an appetite!

With a maximum of 50 pitches which combines camping, glamping and campervan & caravan touring pitches, this site is blissfully uncommercialised however, don’t panic about charging your tech, as 40 of the pitches have electric hook ups. The size of the pitches 11×11 with an onsite parking spot too means you won’t ever feel claustrophobic. Pitch up, sit back, replenish and breathe in that fresh Cornish air.

Tregavone is dog friendly, however it is a working farm with sheep grazing peacefully in adjacent meadows, so the only requirement is to ask owners to keep their dogs on a lead. There is even have a dedicated dog walking area.

Fancy a little break from cooking on your camping stove or travelling to eat out? Then look no further as the ‘Cornish Grill’ horsebox comes to the farm a couple of times per week ready and waiting to take your orders. Enjoy your fantastic food by your own pitch and take in the incredible scenery – and for the over 18’s, maybe a traditional Cornish ale or beer to wash it down.

Being situated in 2 acres of valley in St Merryn which includes ponds, it is a wonderful place to explore, ramble and see how much different wildlife you can spot. The location also means that on a clear night, the starry skies are a sight to be seen. Getting back to nature but where flushing toilets and hot showers are never more than a hop, skip and a jump away especially with the addition of the new shower block.

The farm sells some of its own produce including farm eggs, homemade jams & chutneys.
