Welcome to this family-run, 5 star Visit England rated, touring park and campsite situated in Porthcothan, within the ‘Seven Bays’ – one of the most beautiful parts of North Cornwall.  They offer grass pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents with electric hook up, or stay in one of the beautiful bell tents in their brand new glamping area or their new sea view apartments.

Set back from the rugged coastline, they have far reaching country views in a very quiet secluded spot, looking down the valley, disturbed only by the sound of their animals. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep with an uninterrupted panoramic sky, perfect for star gazing.

The nearest beach – Porthcothan, only a 10 minute walk away, is a delightful little bay, great for bathing, surfing and snorkeling.  Sand dunes and rock pools all combine to make it an idyllic place for both families and couples.  MacDonald’s Farm are situated in the best area to explore the North Coast and local hot spots of Padstow and Newquay. They also have a bus stop to take you either way along the coast.

They welcome both families and couples looking for a chilled, relaxing holiday – small groups are allowed but please call to confirm before booking as it is a quiet family-run site.  Sleep under the Cornish stars, eat some of the best local food in the wonderful farm garden, meet the animals, ride a pony or enjoy a drink or two from their Sundowner Bar. Live music events are also held here on a regular basis during the summer months.

Treyarnon Bay Holidays is located at Treyarnon Bay near Padstow.

They have camping, static caravans and cottages available.

Camping:

At Treyarnon Bay Holidays they have perfectly situated touring pitches to accommodate tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes.  So, whether you are sleeping under canvas or roaming the county on wheels, you will be able to pitch up and glimpse the stunning sea views and breathe in the calming salty sea air.   They have 26 electric pitches, non-electric camping, all grass pitches, water points, showers, toilets, potwash and laundry facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Caravans:

The static caravans provide a delightful retreat for you and your family to enjoy on the North Cornwall coastline.  They have either two or three bedroom caravans, all of which are filled with everything one would need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in Cornwall.  All you need to bring is bed linen, towels and supplies (they provide duvets, pillows and mattress protectors).  All of the static caravans have showers and fully equipped kitchens and lounge (including TV).  Depending on the static caravan you choose, they may or may not include a balcony, though all of the caravans have a sea view!  Please note that dogs are not permitted in static caravans at any point throughout the season.

Cottages:

There are a number of idyllic properties located on the beautiful North Cornwall coastline. These Cornish retreats range in size from cosy two person cottages to spacious family of eight accommodation.  Perfectly situated just a few minute’s walk from Treyarnon Bay beach, these properties afford the opportunity to explore, relax and immerse yourself in Cornwall’s glorious and awe-inspiring landscape.  The cottages are self-catering, and are fitted with all the comforts one would require for your family holiday. Pets – Please note:

Camping:  Dogs are allowed all season apart from July and August.  However, they do have a basic field where they do allow dogs all season.

Caravans:  Strictly no dogs allowed.

Cottages:  Dogs are allowed in some of the cottages.  Please check at time of booking.

Families only. They DO NOT allow groups on the main campsite but they do have another camp site which is located nearer to Constantine Bay where they allow a small group (age and limits apply) as this is also a family and dog friendly campsite. Please contact them for more information.

OPEN FROM EASTER TO 27TH SEPTEMBER 2026.

Nestled in a valley on the fringes of Padstow and less than a mile to the harbour, Dennis Cove Campsite is a family run site which is the closest campsite to Padstow.  There is private access onto the Camel Trail, an 18 mile traffic free cycle path from Padstow to Wenfordbridge on Bodmin Moor.  Otherwise you can take a 10 minute stroll along the trail into Padstow, a further 20 minute walk takes you to secluded beaches.  With all this on your door step there really is no need to get back behind the wheel of your vehicle once you’re here.

The perfect base for an action packed holiday of hiking, cycling and water sports, Dennis Cove Campsite is less than a mile from the irresistible South West Coast Path and the historic Saints Way.  Located on the Camel Trail and national Cycle Route 32, there’s enough picturesque cycling routes to keep you going all week. If its water based activities that you prefer the Camel Estuary offers kayaking, paddleboarding, water-skiing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, sailing, power boating and windsurfing.  Within a 20 minute drive of the campsite you’ll find some of the best surfing beaches in the UK.

Escape to the ‘Foodie’s Heaven’ that is Padstow.  From fine dining experiences with a Michelin Star to decent home cooked pub grub, Padstow’s restaurants, pubs and cafes cater for all tastes, with well known celebrity chef’s eateries tucked away in the back streets, decent local family run restaurants on the harbour side and some of the best fish and chips around.

As for Dennis Cove Campsite, it is the atmosphere that sets it apart.  A lovingly cared for, traditional campsite that’s been the family’s home since 1987, you’ll get to experience all the nostalgia of a traditional camping holiday but with the most amazing modern wash facilities.

The campsite caters for up to 100 pitches across 5 separate camping fields.  Open from Easter to the end of September with 28 electric hook-ups, the campsite is perfect for tents, campervans and smaller motorhomes (up to 7 metres) and caravans.

Facilities include toilets, showers, washing-up, laundry, drying room, freezers for ice packs, chemical waste disposal, gas exchange, battery charging, 24 hour warden and above all a team of staff who’ll do their utmost to ensure your needs are catered for, as best they can.

Trevean Caravan & Camping Park is a quiet, family run park situated within a short distance of no less than seven sandy beaches, surrounded by both sea and countryside views.

Established for over 30 years the site has developed alongside the family farm, which is now being worked by the 4th generation of the family. Originally a mixture of Sheep and Dairy, the farm is now home to a herd of Organic Beef cattle.  They are turned out for most of the camping season so you will be able to see them grazing along with Furious, the resident Simmental Bull.  Keep your eyes open for other four legged residents too. Will you be greeted by one of the resident cats? Or will you be lucky enough to catch a sunset beyond the horses summer paddocks?

Close to the Southwest Coast Path and the spectacular North Coast, Trevean Farm is also just 4 miles from Padstow harbour with it’s many fine restaurants, independent shops, pubs & cafes.  St Merryn village is just 1 mile away with it’s general store, pub, Rick Stein’s The Cornish Arms, petrol garage, restaurant, a fabulous Fish & Chip shop and Spring House Chinese Takeaway.

CARAVANS
There are 3 luxury Static Caravans available for hire. Weekly stays can be booked throughout the season, and for those of you who prefer to visit at a quieter time of year, short breaks can be tailored to your requirements.  Enjoy a warm welcome with the complimentary Cornish goodies, everything you need for a cup of tea or coffee & a Cream Tea.  Included in your stay are use of gas, electricity and access to all the sites facilities. All the vans are now powered by their own solar electricity so you will be benefiting from the Cornish sunshine in more ways than one.

They hope you will understand that they don’t allow dogs in these vans in case of allergies.

A travel cot is available, please request this when making your booking.
Arrival times are between 3pm – 7pm, departure by 10am.

TOURING & CAMPING
The range of level grassy pitches have something for everyone and are all within 200 metres of the toilet block. They welcome everything from tents to tourers and motorhomes with the advantage of good road access. They have 24 electric pitches, all with 10 amp hook up points; 12 Deluxe pitches are centrally located in the first field benefiting from very close proximity to the toilets, laundry and shop.  These pitches are more open, giving excellent views of the sunset throughout the summer. A further 12 Standard pitches are located in the top field alongside the play area so you can watch your family play from the comfort of your pitch. Several of these pitches are backed on one side by a substantial hedge so offer plenty of shelter from the elements. 7 Basic pitches are available for those who prefer a traditional camping experience.

FACILITIES

Trevean has a good range of family orientated facilities.  Environmentally friendly; the heating and lights are run by sensors and the electricity is supported by solar panels. Separate Ladies and Gents rooms include free hot showers, a hairdryer and a shaving point.  There is also a family room with disabled access, this wet room features baby changing facilities, wash basin, hand dryer, shaving point, a toilet and shower with a range of support rails, a transfer bench and is serviced with an emergency pull cord. The Laundry room has a washing machine & tumble dryer, along with a clothes washing sink and ironing facilities. There is also a new dedicated Dish Washing area, and a purpose built Wetsuit Wash.  To keep everyone entertained there is a fantastic children’s play area. There is also a picnic area and a 5 acre recreation field which can be used for dog walking and games. The pitches themselves are all level and grassy and over half have electric hook ups. They have ample space for one car on each pitch and are all accessed by a hardcore track to minimise travel over grass. Taps with drinking water are located in various places around the site.  All your rubbish can be disposed of on site, there are large bins for a variety of recycling and general waste. There is both a waste water disposal point and chemical waste disposal point. There is also WiFi available throughout the site at additional cost. The reception has a large display of leaflets for all the local attractions. For security purposes the site is monitored by CCTV.  From Whitsun to September there is a small shop selling a range of items including newspapers and fresh bread, you can also freeze ice packs here. At reception you can charge your laptops and phones. Calor Gas is sold on site and there is usually a wide range available. There is also a payphone located behind the shop.
