MAP & FACILITIES

Valley Caravan Park was established in 1945 by William A Taylor and has continued to be run by the same Cornish family throughout the years. The park boasts a wonderful location in Polzeath, home to one of Cornwall’s premier surfing beaches.  The aim is to make your holiday a happy and memorable occasion, a member of the family or staff will be available to assist you at most times during the day and night.

The Park is situated in a valley leading down to the sea, with the entrance only 200 yards from Polzeath’s sandy beach. They have tried to keep the park as natural as possible, encouraging wildlife – especially mallard ducks, geese, squirrels, rabbits and moorhens.

At the Valley Caravan Park you will find a lounge bar with a six day license with entertainment in high season, a conservatory, and a cafe with seating area and games area. Free wireless is available in the bar and cafe areas, there is a launderette and children’s play area.

Due to the wildlife, DOGS are not permitted on the site (except guide dogs).

House on the Hill is a 4 bedroom house which sleeps 12-13 people.  Click here for full details.

APARTMENTS

There are six duplex apartments situated at the entrance of the park above the ground floor of the main amenities building.  Each apartment has two bathrooms, with 2, 3, and 4 bedroom options available and full central heating across two floors.  There is a separate car park and surf shower to serve the apartments, a nearby play area which also has a communal BBQ hut, and a coin operated launderette situated on the ground floor of the amenity block.  Bed linen and towels are provided within the price. Each apartment is equipped with a travel cot (your own linen will be needed for this), high-chair and stair gates for families with young children. Click here for full details.

STATIC CARAVANS

There are over 50 static caravans available for let for holidays, these vary by age, size and by number of bedrooms – 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms.  Caravan prices are determined by the age of the caravan, with the newer models being at the top end of our price range. Every effort is made to ensure that there is a choice of different price bands within different locations across the park, so that you’re more likely to find something that’s specifically suited to you and your family!  It is understood that, although you want to get away, you don’t want to be charged for the comforts you’d usually take for granted at home. This is why they do not charge you more for a 12ft wide 2 or 3 bedroom caravan – this is their standard width!  Free Wi-Fi is provided in the Bar & Cafe area throughout the day. There are no hidden extras!  Duvets and pillows are provided, but you will need to bring your own linen and towels.

TOURING & CAMPING

The main camping field stretches over one side of the park, separated from the rest of the park by the river that runs through the valley and surrounded on the other side by acres of woodland.  There are two toilet/shower blocks at either end of the camping field. Please see the shower and toilet block page for more details.  There are a variety of pitch sizes available, with or without electric hook up. There are an extremely limited number of hard standing pitches.

Please Note – Dimensions of tents, caravans, awnings etc are required on the booking form. This information is a requirement of your booking. This information ensures that there is no over-crowding and that pitch boundaries are respected, giving all of customers the space they need to enjoy their holiday.

You are advised to book well in advance for summer school holidays, as the popularity of Polzeath brings the site to full capacity.  The staff will always try their best to accommodate you!

* There is a 3 night minimum booking

Please note groups are not accepted and only guide dogs are allowed on site.

MAP & FACILITIES

Trevean Caravan & Camping Park is a quiet, family run park situated within a short distance of no less than seven sandy beaches, surrounded by both sea and countryside views.

Established for over 30 years the site has developed alongside the family farm, which is now being worked by the 4th generation of the family. Originally a mixture of Sheep and Dairy, the farm is now home to a herd of Organic Beef cattle.  They are turned out for most of the camping season so you will be able to see them grazing along with Furious, the resident Simmental Bull.  Keep your eyes open for other four legged residents too. Will you be greeted by one of the resident cats? Or will you be lucky enough to catch a sunset beyond the horses summer paddocks?

Close to the Southwest Coast Path and the spectacular North Coast, Trevean Farm is also just 4 miles from Padstow harbour with it’s many fine restaurants, independent shops, pubs & cafes.  St Merryn village is just 1 mile away with it’s general store, pub, Rick Stein’s The Cornish Arms, petrol garage, restaurant, a fabulous Fish & Chip shop and Spring House Chinese Takeaway.

CARAVANS
There are 3 luxury Static Caravans available for hire. Weekly stays can be booked throughout the season, and for those of you who prefer to visit at a quieter time of year short breaks can be tailored to your requirements.  Enjoy a warm welcome with the complimentary cornish goodies, everything you need for a cup of tea or coffee & a Cream Tea.  Included in your stay are use of gas, electricity and access to all the sites facilities. All the vans are now powered by their own solar electricity so you will be benefiting from the Cornish sunshine in more ways than one.

They hope you will understand that they don’t allow dogs in these vans in case of allergies.

A travel cot is available, please request this when making your booking.  Click here to view the caravans.
Arrival times are between 3pm – 7pm, departure by 10am.

TOURING & CAMPING
The range of level grassy pitches have something for everyone and are all within 200 metres of the toilet block. They welcome everything from tents to tourers and motorhomes with the advantage of good road access. They have 24 electric pitches, all with 10 amp hook up points; 12 Deluxe pitches are centrally located in the first field benefiting from very close proximity to the toilets, laundry and shop.  These pitches are more open, giving excellent views of the sunset throughout the summer. A further 12 Standard pitches are located in the top field alongside the play area so you can watch your family play from the comfort of your pitch. Several of these pitches are backed on one side by a substantial hedge so offer plenty of shelter from the elements. 7 Basic pitches are available for those who prefer a traditional camping experience.  Click here for more information.
