Chapel Amble is a picturesque village approximately 3 miles from the town of Wadebridge in North Cornwall. At its centre is the village green with an ancient piggery on it. Surrounding the green are a number of quaint cottages and the village pub, The Malsters Arms. The River Amble runs through the village to join the River Camel where in past times barges sailed up to Amble. St Aldheims Chapel stood here for many years, the only signs of which are now some buried remains. It has been noted that some ancient relics from the chapel have been incorporated in local cottages.
