They’re called a wine merchant with a twist. What’s the twist? Glad you asked. The twist is that they’ve not only been twice recognised by Harpers Wine and Spirits as the ‘Best Independent Wine Merchant’ in the UK , they’re also the wine shop that likes to play as a friendly bar, coffee shop and light tapas eatery.
And if you can’t make it to visit them in person they offer wines online for local delivery and national mail order too.
They like to think that BinTwo is a place where wine is loved but not in a weirdly worshipful kind of way. A place where people come first and everyone is welcome so long as they’re nice. A place where spruced-up diners, fresh from the beach scruff bags, families on holiday, stinky dogs, messy kids, couples canoodling and adventurers travelling alone are all made to feel part of the gang.
So if good wine, good coffee, good food and good people are your thing, then pop along to Bintwo!
Situated just off Padstow harbour, they have indoor and outdoor seating- including their wonderful new covid friendly booths and sail!
A first class menu with champagnes from Billecart-Salmon, bone dry Provence rosé and luscious, buttery Pouilly Fuissé all scream out for a lobster roll or a mouthful of fresh crab. Their Bordeaux might almost have been made with the charcuterie board in mind. Why deny yourself these small but decadent pleasures!
Shockingly good coffee made by properly trained baristas using organic espresso beans from the legendary Monmouth Coffee Company. The flapjacks and chocolate brownies are a knock out with the fabulous Rising Ground coffee too using their very own blend of beans roasted just 5 miles away by a pair of local coffee superstars!
Small menu…great quality. Lobster rolls made to the classic Maine recipe and hand-picked dressed crab – both sourced from a Padstow day boat. Local charcuterie, Manchego cheese, olives but not just any old olives…you get the picture!
OPEN ALL YEAR – EXCEPT CHRISTMAS DAY / BOXING DAY
