PRIDEAUX PLACE

A haven of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of Padstow, with free visitor parking.

Enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea in the wonderful surroundings of Prideaux Place, the stunning Elizabethan manor house on the outskirts of Padstow.

Situated in what was once the Old Schoolroom, the tearoom is supplemented in the summer months by the addition of a marquee on the Terrace overlooking the Deer Park. This is a place in which to relax and enjoy the view with family or friends over a meal or a glass of wine.

The fully licensed Terrace tearoom prides itself on serving the finest Cornish produce and offers light lunches, all prepared to order in our newly refurbished kitchens; cakes, coffee, tea, ice creams and of course our internationally renowned Cornish Cream Tea… freshly baked scones, strawberry jam with lashings of Cornish Clotted Cream and a pot of tea.

Visit one of Cornwall’s most impressive family homes with its origin and history firmly rooted in Elizabethan grandeur, Georgian style and Victorian enterprise. Chart the progress of Prideaux Place through the years, examine the artefacts and heirlooms on display and marvel at the beauty of this impressive Cornish manor house. Still owned by the family that built in in 1588, the house and gardens give an absorbing insight into the last 400 years.

From the beautiful tearoom and marquee overlooking the Deer Park you can see the deer being fed!

Chefs, Angus and Tracy provide an exciting selection of homemade food with all special diets catered for.

Lunches served from 11am to 4pm.
