The Bear at The Point is Polzeath’s family-friendly restaurant, offering sea views, a large terrace, and a proudly Cornish menu. From dayboat fish and chips to fresh seasonal dishes and plates for sharing, the focus is on simple, well-prepared food using quality local ingredients.

Open to non-members and walk-ins, The Bear is an easy place to drop into for breakfast, a post-workout lunch, or dinner after a day spent on Polzeath Beach.

The menus are designed to suit any time of day, with everything from light bites and sharing plates to more substantial dishes, alongside children’s menus and options for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diets.

Downstairs, The Bear Bar offers a more relaxed setting for coffee, live sport or a drink after a round of golf, game of padel or day on the coast.

Open: Every day from 8am until late, The Bear Bar open from midday until late on weekends.
