ABOUT

Tucked away down a campion-lined Cornish lane, Trevibban Mill is a vineyard, winery and bar approximately three miles from picturesque harbour town, Padstow. Historically the home of a miller and his family, the land is now covered in vines and apple trees.

Trevibban Mill was established by Engin & Liz Mumcuoglu in 2008.  Today the vineyard is run by the family with their eldest son Tom, drawing on their passion for viticulture and sustainability in the expanding market.  From the sheep that graze in the vineyard and orchards, even down to the grape and apple pressing waste that feeds the neighbours cows, their approach is a simple yet considered one, working with nature.

Trevibban Mill is now one of the leading wine estates in the UK and the wines have won numerous awards in the International Wine Challenge, International Wine and Spirit Competition including their renowned Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé  which was awarded  Silver at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championship in 2021, their Blanc de Blancs 2014 won Gold at the WineGBWest awards in 2019, where it was also awarded The Ray Palfrey Cup for the best sparkling wine, as well as being named the overall champion. As well as producing beautiful examples of English Sparkling Wine, they have a particularly high reputation for their still wines including the Harlyn Still White and the Black Ram Red and have received many accolades for these innovative styles.

Trevibban Mill has been regularly in the press, in 2021 were amongst the twenty best vineyards to visit in The Times. Our white sparkling wine was one of the top 20 wines recommended by Susie Atkins in The Telegraph. Recently our Black Ram Red was one of 5 best still wines in the UK recommended by Fiona Beckett in the Guardian. Our ciders have received gold and silver medals in the biggest international competition (IWSC) and have achieved 3rd place in the overall whole competition.

At the centre of the vineyard is a striking contemporary building which houses our winery and cellar, an unpretentious yet stylish tasting room/bar and event space, the ‘Upper Deck’, which can be hired for weddings and private events.
