See the superb collection of portraits, furniture and porcelain and follow marked walks, through 50 acres of beautiful formal and woodland gardens. Visit the Victorian rockery, Italian garden, lake, Iron Age hill fort and icehouse and see the amazing different varieties of rhododendrons.
There is a café, gift shop, plants sale and children’s playground.
Dogs welcome in the gardens and can have a run off the lead in the woods.

House tours: open Monday to Thursday until the end of October. First guided tour starts at 11.15 and every 45 minutes, last tour is 3.00pm. (Tour times can vary slightly from time to time but generally run to these times). THEY ARE NOT TAKING PRE-BOOKINGS FOR HOUSE TOURS, however you will need to book onto a tour on arrival.
